Job Seeker Assistance
A job seeker is anyone who is entering the workforce for the first time, interested in changing jobs, seeking a new job because of unemployment or looking to improve current job skills. If you are a job seeker, there are a variety of programs available under the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) that can help you achieve your career goals. Services are available to adults, dislocated workers and young adults (ages 19-21 years old).
All of the services are open and available to everyone. However, some special training resources, resume preparation tools and other quality services require you to register.
Registration is free and all information is confidential.
So, click on one of the service groups below or use the “sign up” tab in the upper right corner to register for advanced services.
Please Note:
Registration provides access to additional information and assistance. It does not enroll you in a WIA program. Enrolling in a WIA funded activity will require you to meet certain eligibility guidelines. A Job Center case manager can explain eligibility requirements.
